About this opportunity
Reliance World is now breaking new ground to create a Direct Sales channel through its Marketing Franchise initiative for reaching out to customers who have the need and the purchasing power, but no awareness or the time to experience our products & services at the store.
Many of our unique new-age digital products & services are not normally available in the retail market, require one-to-one presentation/demo and involve personal marketing skills, before the customer buys the product or experiences the service.
We are now looking for dynamic Marketing Franchisees who will market Reliance World's products and services directly to customers at their homes or workplaces and join us in a pathbreaking Direct Selling journey-not as an employee but as an entrepreneurial arm of the Reliance World store.
Please note that Reliance World's Marketing Franchise initiative is separate from the store franchising initiative. Each Marketing Franchisee will be assigned a particular Reliance World, irrespective of whether that store is managed by a store franchisee (Franchisee Partner) or directly by the company.
Products and Services
Reliance World's Marketing Franchisees will have a wide bouquet of products & services to market, including the retail offerings of R-ADAG brands. These products & services are of interest to a wide cross-section of audiences: corporates, youngsters, professionals, homemakers and even senior citizens.
Mobile & Communications
Reliance Communications has established a pan-India, high-capacity, integrated (wireless and wireline), convergent (voice, data and video) digital network, to offer services spanning the entire infocomm value chain. In over 25,000 towns and 5 lakh villages across India, Reliance Mobile puts mobile communication within easy grasp of over 92 million subscribers. Thanks to Reliance Netconnect, Internet access has now become almost omnipresent: at home, at work or on the move.
Besides retailing Reliance Communications' range of products/services, Reliance World also sells a wide range of CDMA, GSM & dual-mode handsets and accessories. For instance, the range of Coolpad dual-mode smartphones are retailed as well as distributed exclusively by us.
Our Marketing Franchisees will sell connections to Reliance Communications' services directly to people at their homes and workplaces. As far as products are concerned (e.g., handsets, data cards), the Marketing Franchisees can book the order, collect the payment & required documents, get the device from their assigned Reliance World store and deliver it to the customer. Alternatively, they can stock some devices and fulfill orders on the spot.

Corporate Offerings
Reliance World has a range of offerings for the corporate world, right from self-employed professionals to large enterprises. Most of these products are innovative and require concept-selling. Our Marketing Franchisees will introduce these products to self-employed professionals, offices and institutes in the catchment area. Once they get a lead, they will be supported by Reliance World's experienced Corporate Sales team in closing the sale. The Marketing Franchisees may choose to shoulder account management responsibilities for their clients and expand their earning potential.

Our Mobile & Communications group of products and services are of course of interest to everybody in the family, but besides these, we also have a wide range of unique and interesting offerings that can be marketed at homes.
For example, My Music offers customers the choice of buying their favourite songs from a digital library of over 150,000 songs and getting them on an Audio CD, pen drive or micro SD card.

The countrywide network and technology infrastructure of Reliance World places it in a unique position: it doubles up as a countrywide classroom. We offer several eLearning programmes for all kinds of audiences. For instance, the Ankit Fadia Certified Ethical Hacker program is aimed at students and professionals wishing to build their skills in Computer Security. Our Virtual Classroom courses, in association with institutes like XLRI & XIMB, have benefited hundreds of working professionals.
Our Marketing Franchisees will enroll students into our eLearning programmes by providing them detailed information about these programmes and helping them make an informed choice.

How This Opportunity is Different
Here are some pointers on what makes this different from other direct selling formats:
- You will be our partner in marketing our products & services directly to end-consumers, but not a Direct Sales Agent. Usually, a Direct Sales Agent is employed by a company for one product or products of a similar nature and earns commissions. You will be assigned a particular Reliance World in your catchment area and you will represent that sstore with its wide variety of offerings, earning a percentage of gross margins on the sales you make.
- You decide how much you want to sell and earn.
- You will have a large bouquet of products & services. You may choose to specialize in a few or all product lines, based on your expertise and the composition of the neighbourhood populace.
- Typically, Direct Sellers are supported by the company offices/centres which are very few in number. However, you will have the robust support of the Reliance World store in your neighbourhood.
- Reliance World's range of products/services is of interest to a wide cross-section of people. Thus you get a wide playground to unleash your marketing acumen. Moreover, once you manage to win the confidence of a home/office, you have many cross-selling opportunities in the same office/home.
- Most of our offerings require concept selling and the Reliance World outlet will be the fulfillment point. So you don't have to stock products or lug around heavy bags.
- This opportunity balances great earning potential with minimal risks, and does not require heavy investments.

Support available to you
We will provide comprehensive training on our entire range of products/services as well as soft skills. A Sales Aid kit will also be provided to you. Since you will be associated with a Reliance World outlet, you will have on-demand support from the store.
Earning Potential
Reliance World has a unique gross-margin sharing model for its Marketing Franchisees. Based on the product/service, the Marketing Franchisees will get a share of the gross margin, every time they make a sale or provide a lead that results in a sale.
The earning potential entirely depends on the Marketing Franchisee's efforts. We believe that an enterprising Marketing Franchisee can earn upwards of Rs 50,000 per month, after the initial ramp-up period. There's no reason why you can't earn higher, provided you are ready to walk the extra mile by expanding your sales portfolio either individually or by building your own sales team as you grow.

Eligibility Criteria
We believe that passion is the overriding factor in an initiative of this order. We need people who have a passion for selling, especially corporate selling. While some experience in corporate selling would be an advantage, it is not a necessary requisite. People who will work individually as well as entrepreneurs who already have a team of Marketing personnel are invited to apply.
The shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo our selection process which will consist of assessments and personal interviews.
