Basic and Advanced Robotics Camps designed by IITians Science and Mathematics reveal many secrets of the universe. Though students study the theories and principles in classrooms, they get few opportunities to actually apply these theories. While Robotics finds application in highly sophisticated areas (like Aviation and Surgery), it is also a great way to make children learn scientific theories in a fun way. At ROBOCAMP™,
participants would get the opportunity to do just that.
Researched and developed at SINE, IIT Bombay, the courses will teach students to build and program robots using hardware and software. The curriculum is designed to demonstrate theories of Science and Mathematics, nurture scientific exploration and ignite an interest in Robotics technology.
The Robotics Camps will be held in the comfortable environs of select Reliance World stores in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. Qualified Robotics teachers from robo.in will conduct the camps. Participants will learn the principles of robotics and then apply them in hands-on robot building sessions.

Each participant will be provided with an ergonomically designed robotics kit – ROBONAUT™,
consisting of electrical and mechanical building blocks and necessary tools to construct robots.
The participants will build remote controlled robots and learn:
- Basic concepts of physics and electricity
- Designing of various mechanical structures
- Proper usage of tools

ROBOCAMP™ Senior
Each participant will be provided with the i-PITARA™ kit, consisting of a reprogrammable microcontroller unit, multiple sensors, mechanical construction blocks and necessary tools.
The participants will build robots and program them using CiMPLE, an interactive visual
programming software specially designed for kids. They would learn:
- Advanced concepts of physics and electricity
- Basics of autonomous robotics
- Programming and logic building
- Integrating mechanic, electronics and programming

ROBOCAMP™ Virtu
Each participant will be provided a VirtuBoard kit* and a CD containing the starter guide during
the camp. Participants will learn:
- To make algorithms

- To control on-screen robot using keyboard
- To control on-screen robot using keyboard
- How to animate the robot to do tasks
- To control on-screen characters using the HMI (human machine interface) board

ROBOCAMP™ Senior Advanced
Each participant will be provided with an add-on kit* to iPitara, a starter guide and a CD
containing the advanced version of CiMPLE, an interactive visual software for robot programming. They will be introduced to new sensors and taught how to develop complex algorithms. With the add-on components and the reprogrammable i-pitara kit, they will be building more intelligent and advanced robots. They will learn:
- Building complex robots with new sensors
- Higher level of programming
- Data collection and manipulation techniques
- Developing complex algorithms
- Deeper understanding of real world robotics application
