About ROBOCAMP™

Researched and developed at SINE, IIT Bombay, ROBOCAMP™ is a certified course that will teach students to build and program robots using hardware and software. ROBOCAMP™ is designed to demonstrate theories of Science and Mathematics, nurture scientific exploration and ignite an interest in Robotics technology.

The participants begin by studying the theories and principles of Science and Mathematics using multi-media based learning content and then apply these theories to build various kinds of robots in hands-on robot building sessions.

ROBOCAMP™ will be held in the comfortable environs of Reliance World. Qualified Robotics instructors from robo.in will conduct the camp. There will be separate batches for Juniors and Seniors. Students in classes IV to VI will attended ROBOCAMP™ Junior while those in classes VII to XII will attend ROBOCAMP™ Senior.

Each participant will be provided with an ergonomically designed robotic kit – ROBONAUT™, consisting of electrical and mechanical building blocks and necessary tools to construct robots.	Each participant will be provided with the i-PITARA™ kit, consisting of a reprogrammable unit, multiple sensors, mechanical construction blocks and necessary tools. The participants will build robots and program them using CiMPLE, an interactive visual programming software specially designed for kids.
The participants will build remote controlled robots and learn: Basic concepts of physics and electricity Designing of various mechanical structures Proper usage of tools ...and lots more	They would learn: Advanced concepts of physics and electricity Programming and logic building Problem solving approaches ...and lots more

All participants of ROBOCAMP™ will receive a certificate on completion of course. They will also be eligible to enter the National Robotics Competition (TRICKS) to be held at IIT Bombay. The champion will win a trip to NASA*.
