World, in association with Ilaza VDO,
brings you VDO Resume - a unique online
system that integrates a video file
into the candidate’s resume.
Think of it as the first employer-candidate
meeting without an interview! It is
a complete web-based system that offers
the flexibility for employers to:
- Specify
questions(s) that the candidate
should answer in the video
- Include profile-based question(s)
that the candidate should answer
by selecting from dropdown list(s),
thus incorporating an inbuilt filtration
mechanism
- Include an online assessment customised
to each job position posted
How It
Works
- The employer creates
a unique Job ID on www.ilazavdo.com.
Relevant information is uploaded
and mapped to the Job ID: question(s)
that the candidate will answer in
the video, profile-based questions
and online assessment questions.
- The employer
advertises the job in online/print
media with an instruction for candidates
to upload their Video Resumes at
their nearest Reliance World (there
are over 240 outlets across the
country). An example of the instruction
is given below.
- Interested candidates
visit Reliance World and register
online for the job, record their
videos and key in all information
required by the employer. They are
assisted by trained WebGuides at
Reliance World.
- After the application
deadline is over, the employer gets
all Video Resumes on a CD along
with the online assessment responses
for each Job ID. The employer may
also nominate a person to visit
any Reliance World to filter, sort,
review and grade all resumes before
burning the short-listed resumes
on a CD.
